Disabled Access Doors

Almost all sliding door systems can be easily converted to provide better access for disabled. Sliding doors are a fantastic solution for the disabled. 

Suitable for a wide opening with minimal depth taken into the opening. 

Swing doors are the next best solution for disabled access. Swing doors provide a wide opening for ease of access and are suitable for most environments. Swing doors do require a larger footprint to operate efficiently. 

The doors themselves swing into the opening and require more room to articulate in the opening. 

Bifolding doors are an ideal solution for those with an opening too narrow for a sliding door. They are also ideal for the openings that require less footprint for the doors to 

operate within. 

They do typically make the opening narrower by design but this usually will not be enough to affect disabled access. 

If you already have an automatic door that you wish to convert for disabled use no problem. Some existing systems do allow for disabled access systems to be fitted. 

However if your system is outdated and cannot be converted don't worry, a new system can 

be fitted to your existing door as a cost

 saving solution.
